On September 30, 1986 we opened our doors and our dream became a reality.

Many of our customers from 1986, remain our customers today. We have watched their children grow and have families of their own. They, too, come in to shop or just to say hello when they are back in town. We share stories with them both happy and sad. Many have become like family to us.

With a lot of hard work and enduring lean years the market has evolved from the small grocery store to a full scale market. Our grocery shelves have been condensed to make way for tables and chairs and when that was not enough room we expanded by building an outdoor patio, later enclosed with fans to cool and heaters to warm and offers room for private parties.

Our sandwich board as grown from just a few to several dozen. We have a wine bar and, also, offer a selection of over 100 different Italian wine selections. Early on, our son Chuck was the front end manager. Now the store is managed by our daughter Andrea. But all of our children which also includes, daughters Erica and Claudia, plus many of our grandchildren have also helped out.

Yes our dream has become a reality. We are truly a neighborhood store and we are very much involved in the community. And it has been a labor of love.
